Russian shahed drones attacked Kyiv on New Year's Eve

On the first day of the new year, the enemy attacked the capital. There are destructions in two districts of the city:

Pechersk district: Partial destruction occurred on the 4th-6th floors of a residential building, and a fire broke out on the 4th-5th floors, covering an area of 70 sq.m. One woman was rescued. The fire has been localized, and work to extinguish it is ongoing. A fire also broke out on the roof of a nearby non-residential building, covering an area of 80 sq.m. The firefighting efforts are still underway. A total of 75 rescuers and 19 units of fire and rescue equipment are working at the scene.

Svyatoshyn district: Garage structures were destroyed, and a fire broke out over an area of 20 sq.m. 10 rescuers and 2 units of fire and rescue equipment are working at the site.

A total of 63 drones were shot down over Ukrainian skies last night, with 46 more lost due to location-specific damage.
