Government of Ukraine has sold three state enterprises at a profit

The state budget of Ukraine will receive 108.5 million hryvnias from the sale of three state-owned objects.

The State Property Fund sold the wholesale market in Brovary for UAH 44.5 million, which is 10 times higher than the starting price, the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The Center for Certification of Building Materials, Products and Structures was sold for UAH 3.5 million (the starting price was UAH 270 thousand and it increased 13 times).

Also, the State Property Fund sold the state-owned stake in JSC Ukrayina Turystychna at a price exceeding the starting one by 35%.

“The State Property Fund plans to continue a privatization campaign to sell 415 objects out of 500 transferred by the Government to the State Property Fund,” the Government specified.

It should be reminded that the Cabinet of Ministers has transferred 339 state-owned enterprises and 76 facilities to the State Property Fund for further privatization. Besides, the Government has carried out a massive purge of heads of state-owned enterprises.

“Ukroboronprom” Director General Aivaras Abromavičius explained about the companies that the state concern needs to get rid of.
