Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  February 15, 2018 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces fulfilled 14 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy released 134 mines of forbidden 120-mm and 82-mm calibers upon Ukrainian troops positions. Ukrainian forces returned fire in 10 cases.
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian proxies fired 4 times on this direction. Russian 120-mm mortar launchers fire reported near Troytske and Lozove.
(3) Donetsk direction: .Russian occupiers dramatically increased to 10 number of shelling on this direction. Butovka mine reported as the hottest spot. Russian forces launched 3-hours-long shelling and released 44 mines of 120-mm caliber and 47 mines of 82-mm caliber upon Ukrainian troops positions. The enemy fired with 120-mm mortars in Novotroytske and Vodyane. Meantime, occupiers used 82-mm mortars against Ukrainian troops in Pisky. Russian proxies also fired with small arms, grenade launchers and APCs fire near Krasnogorivka, Kamyanka and Novotroytske.
(4) Russian Air Forces activities reported all across the south-eastern border of Ukraine. Fighter and bomber aircrafts carried out flights from airports from Kursk, Milerovo, Gvardiyske and Saky Air Force Command of UA Armed Forces reports.
(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian servicemen, but 4 servicemen were wounded in action for the last 24 hours.
