Ukraine war updates on March 22, 2016 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on  ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights

(1) Tense situation remains in the war zone in eastern Ukraine; Russian armed forces fired 27 times over the last day there: 21 times on Donetsk direction and 6 times on Mariupol direction;

(2) Luhansk direction: situation was calm on this direction over the last 24 hours;

(3) Donetsk direction: Ukrainian positions came under Russian firing 2 times from mortar launchers in the area of Avdyivka and Luhanske; Russian snipers opened fire 3 times upon Ukrainian troops in Mayorsk, Leninske and Mayorske;

(4) Mariupol direction: Ukrainian armed forces repelled a series of Russian attacks between Novotroytsk and Dokuchaevsk; Russian enemy violated ceasefire in Shyrokino and Maryinka;

(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian serviceman in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours, but 2 servicemen  wounded in action.
