Two billion in hryvnia to be allocated for Ukraine Presidental elections in 2019

The Central Election Commission approved budget estimates for 2019 under three budget programs, including more than 2,3 billion in hryvnia on the forthcoming Presidential elections in Ukraine, the CEC website reports.





The Central Election Commission approved budget estimates for 2019 under the following three budget programs:

  • Program No 6731040 “Holding of Presidential elections in Ukraine” in the amount of 2 billion 354 million 880 thousand UAH;
  • Program No 6731020 “Holding of parliamentary elections in Ukraine” in the amount of 1 billion 949 million 620 thousand UAH;
  • Program No 6731050 “Functioning of the State Register of Voters” in the amount of 223 million 539 thousand 600 UAH.”

The Central Election Commission also approved the estimate of expenditures for the preparation and holding of the regular election of the President of Ukraine on March 31, 2019, in the amount of 266 million 30 thousand 808 UAH.

Besides, the Commission approved the Procedure for monitoring the proper and targeted use of funds of the State Budget of Ukraine, allocated for the preparation and holding of the presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
