Guterres had no right to be near Putin, - Kyslytsya

Twenty years ago, an agreement was made requiring the UN to refrain from meeting with international criminals recognized by the ICC. It states that individuals with arrest warrants may seek visits from UN officials to undermine the authority of The Hague. This is exactly what Putin has done.

“Neither the Security Council nor the General Assembly instructed the UN Secretary-General to engage with BRICS, let alone accept an invitation from a person under an ICC arrest warrant,” Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Serhiy Kyslytsya, stated.
