Russia plans to strike Ukrainian territory with an experimental ballistic missile

According to sources, Russian forces are planning to launch an experimental ballistic missile from the Kapustin Yar test range towards Ukrainian territory on November 20, 2024.

Attention everyone: Do not ignore missile alert warnings!

The experimental medium-range ballistic missile is likely to be the RS-26 “Rubezh.” Key technical specifications of the RS-26 “Rubezh” include:

Length with warhead: approximately 23 m

Length without warhead: approximately 17 m

Missile diameter: 2 m

Launch weight: 40-50 tons

Warhead payload: 1,000-1,200 kg

Range: up to 3,500 km

Number of stages: 3

Fuel type: solid composite

Warhead: multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRVs) with countermeasures to overcome missile defense systems

Number of warheads: 3-6

Warhead yield: 150-300 kilotons

Guidance system: autonomous, inertial.
