The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine calls Russia to release Crimean Tatar activist Degermendzhi in occupied Crimea.

Crimean Tatar activist Bekir Degermendzhi was illegally arrested in Crimea and cannot be in jail due to health conditions. This was stated in the comment “Crimea. Realia” by the lawyer of the accused Edem Semedliaev.
The defender described the health of his client as “critical”.
“The condition of his health, of course, is a concern. This can be seen visually and the certificates confirm that he has a critical condition and that he cannot be detained in the confinement cell. But these references were not taken into account by the court “, – said Semedliaev.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Russia to release Degermendzhi. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Marian Bets in Twitter.
“The state of Degermendzhi is critical. The invader continues to quietly kill the Crimean Tatars. We voice protest to the Russian Federation, we demand release, “- wrote the diplomat.
Recall that last month, in the Russian-occupied Russia, a 57-year-old Crimean Tatar activist Bekir Degermendzhi, who was held in a confinement cell for a fabricated case about supposed extortion, got into a resuscitation department.
Previously, it was reported that the situation with human rights in the Crimea took a step for the worse.
