Ukraine war updates on February 22, 2016 by the Presidential Administration spokeman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights
(1) Lugansk direction: situation remains calm on this direction over the last day;
(2) Donetsk direction: the enemy continues ceasefire regime violations all across the frontline from Troytske to Donetsk airport; Russian forces fired upon Ukrainian positions with forbiden haevy arms (82-mm mortar launchers) once near Krasnogoryvka;
(3) Mariupol direction: the whole frontline on the west of Maryinka remains the epicenter of warfare on Mariupol direction; more than 10 Russian armed forces fired more than 10 times upon Ukrainian positions with the small arms and grenade launchers; another ceasefire regime violation took place on the sounth direction near the village of Vodyane;
(4) Russian subversive group from Russian Armed Forces detained on Mariupol direction by Ukrainian intelligence forces, 3 Russian servicemen killed and 5 wounded;
(5) No lethal casualties among Ukrainian serviceman, but 2 soldiers were wounded in action over the last 24 hours; in addition, 11 Ukrainian servicemen were injured as a result of careless handling of explosive device near Maryinka.
