The Head of Intelligence Department of the MoD of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov warned that the russian federation had additionally mined the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

“The ZNPP was additionally mined. And the worst thing is that the cooler was mined. If they disable it, there is a high probability that there will be a lot of trouble,” the Ukrainian intelligence head said on the air yesterday.

Kyrylo Budanov said that russians mined the cooler of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. If russia decides to blow it up, the exclusion zone will be roughly 30 thousand km2, and the polluted zone will be up to 2 million km2, including the territories of Moldova, Turkey, and Belarus.

Budanov also commented on the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus.

“As of now, not a single nuclear warhead has been transferred to Belarus, but the ground for a possible transfer of nuclear weapons continues, the storage facilities are being prepared,” he added.

Earlier this week the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi already warned that russia wants to blow up Zaporizhzhia NPP.

IAEA Director also expressed his concern on power outage at Zaporizhzhia NPP caused by russian missile attack: “one day our luck will run out.”

As we know, after the seize of Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant back in 2022, russia hides its mobilized soldiers there: as manpower as well as weaponry.
