Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of November 17, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces increased to 15 the number of attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy continue to use forbidden 120-mm 82-mm mortar against Ukrainian troops.

(2) Russian proxies launched 7 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Starognativka and Pavlopil,

APC fire – near Chernenko,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Pavlopil and Nevelske (3 times),

grenade launchers – near Hnutove,

high caliber machine guns – near Nevelske (3 times), Starognativka and Maryinka,

small arms – near Nevelske (3 times), Hnutove and Pavlopil,

(3) Russian forces launched 8 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Krymske,

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Krymske,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Luhanske (2 times) and Zaytseve,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Mayorsk,

APC fire – near Mayorsk, Krymske, Novoluhanske and Popasna,

automatic grenade launchers – near Luhanske (2 times),

grenade launchers of differnet systems – near Krymske,

high caliber machine guns – near Krymske, Mayorsk and Luhanske (2 times), 

small arms – near Zaytseve, Novoluhanske, Krymske and Popasna,

(4) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in actions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
