The Russian Federation continues to wage a war of aggression, despite significant losses. The enemy continues to kill the civilian population of Ukraine, continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, and uses terror tactics.
On the night of July 30, 2023, the enemy attacked from the south-eastern direction with four attack UAVs of the “Shahed” type.
All enemy UAVs were destroyed within the borders of the Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions by the forces and means of the Air Force.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 8 missile strikes, 33 air strikes, and fired 53 rocket salvo fire strikes at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are victims among the civilian population, residential buildings were destroyed.
The probability of further missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
During the past day, 36 combat clashes took place.
In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. No signs of formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 20 settlements. Among them Mykolaivka, Chernihiv region; Stara Huta, Grabovske, Budivelne, Volfyne of the Sumy region; Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Okhrimivka, Ohirtseve and Tykh of Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction, Topoli, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kislivka, Berestov, Kindrashivka and Kupyansk of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Novoyehorivka and Bilogorivka districts of the Luhansk region. The settlements of Nevske, Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamianske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, more than 15 settlements were hit by enemy artillery shelling, including Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanovske, Bila Gora and Druzhba.
In the Avdiyiv direction, the enemy launched an air strike in the Nevelsky area. More than 10 settlements, including Avdiivka, Severne, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, and Novokalynove of the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire.
In the Mariinka direction, the defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the area of the city of Marinka. The enemy carried out an air strike in the Krasnohorivka region and shelled more than 15 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, and Georgiivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the Makarivka and Staromayorsky districts and shelled the settlements of Elizavetivka, Odradne, Blagodatne, Makarivka, Rivnopil, Staromayorske and Vilne Pole of the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the regions of Mala Tokmachka and Orikhov in the Zaporizhzhia region and Antonivka in the Kherson region. More than 30 settlements, including Novodarivka, Mala Tokmachka, Biloghirya, Mali Shcherbaki, Kamianske of the Zaporizhia region, were hit by artillery fire; Zolota Balka, Tokarivka, Antonivka, Tyaginka, Mykhailivka, Kherson region. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, and are entrenched at the achieved boundaries.
Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine has carried out 9 strikes on areas where the enemy’s personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated. Also, our defenders destroyed 4 operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs.
Over the past 24 hours, units of missile forces and artillery have hit one artillery piece in a firing position, one ammunition depot, one electronic warfare station, and one enemy personnel concentration area.
In general, last day, our soldiers eliminated 480 Russian invaders, burned 14 Russian tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, 9 artillery systems, 1 air defense vehicle, 4 UAVs of operational-tactical level, 28 vehicles and one unit of special equipment.
