Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave a detailed comment on the operation in the Kursk region of Russia for the first time
  • The operation in Kursk region is complicated, and it is important that it is going according to our plan. There are several results of this operation, but I can’t talk about them all. First of all, it is the exchange fund. It is being replenished, which is positive.
  • The second is the cessation of the operation in the north of Russia. We prevented the encirclement of part of Sumy region and the city of Sumy.
  • Someone is now talking about a buffer zone, someone said that we are playing the card for a dialogue. What dialog? We are not playing any cards. We are very open with our partners. We told them how diplomatically we are moving towards a just peace and an end to the war. And everyone was invited to the peace summit.
  • As for all the goals of the operation, we believe that they will be achieved. There are more than those I told you about publicly.
  • One of the goals of this operation is to show the reality of who Putin is. Also, to show the public what is more important to Putin – the occupation of the territory of Ukraine or the protection of his population. And I am very glad that everything I told our partners about, we have now shown it in practice. He is still thinking about how to keep the occupied territories, and he is not thinking about how to protect his people. He is now bombing his villages.
