Zelensky held negotiations with Putin through the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Bakanov, according to "Servant of the People" MP Dubinsky

Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky claimed that the criminal case against him was fabricated on the orders of President Volodymyr Zelensky to cover up his involvement in negotiations with Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin before and after the 2018 and 2019 presidential elections.

According to Censor.NET, a video where Dubinsky discusses this was published on the Dubina TV YouTube channel.

Dubinsky alleged that the communication took place through a presidential representative named Bilyai, who is a business partner of former SBU head Ivan Bakanov. Additionally, Zelensky allegedly communicated with former Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, and the head of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Igor Kostyukov.

“In the indictment against me, it is stated that I worked with the General Staff of the Russian Federation under the codename Buratino. I have sufficient evidence to prove that the codename “Buratino” was used by the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to refer to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky,” Dubinsky stated.

According to him, during the presidential campaign, Zelensky instructed the then-head of the “Servant of the People” party, Ivan Bakanov, to establish contact with former Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Volodymyr Sivkovych and engage in negotiations with Russia while simultaneously seeking lobbyists in the United States.

Dubinsky claims that, with Zelensky’s approval and instructions from Bakanov, he traveled to Russia to meet with Shoigu, Gerasimov, and Kostyukov. Allegedly, these meetings involved negotiations about granting special status to the so-called “LPR/DPR” and incorporating this status into Ukrainian legislation.

“By agreement with relevant officials in the Russian Federation, Denys Maliuska was appointed Minister of Justice to implement this plan,” Dubinsky stated.

Referring to the criminal case against former head of the SBU’s Main Directorate in Crimea, Oleh Kulinich, the MP alleges that the following codenames were used during these negotiations: “Shaman” for Shoigu, “Kostik” for Kostyukov, and “Buratino,” which, according to Dubinsky, Russian intelligence used to refer to Zelensky.

Recall that in November, the SBU charged Dubinsky with treason. According to the investigation, he was part of a criminal organization created by Russian intelligence in 2016, which later included two other Ukrainian MPs, a prosecutor, and additional individuals.

Specifically, Dubinsky, codenamed “Buratino,” engaged in subversive information activities benefiting Russia and disseminated fake news about Ukraine’s top military and political leadership. He also participated in public events to spread pro-Russian narratives.

The group also included former MP Andriy Derkach and ex-prosecutor Kostyantyn Kulyk, who are currently evading justice abroad.

The following day, Kyiv’s Pechersk District Court imposed a pretrial detention measure on Dubinsky, denying him the right to post bail.

Dubinsky, however, denies the new accusations by the SBI and the prosecutor’s office, and he points out that NABU is conducting two investigations based on his complaints against SBI leadership – Sukhachov and Udovychenko – alleging collusion with Deputy Head of the President’s Office, Tatarov.
