On the night of October 7, 2024 from 8:00 p.m. October 6 to 8:30 a.m. October 7, the russian enemy attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, an Kh-59 guided air missile, hypersonic Kinzhal missiles, a missile of an unknown type from the Kursk and Belgorod regions, as well as Shahed attack drones. The districts launches were as follows: Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Yeisk – all in fussian Federation.
Around 8:20 a.m., the enemy attacked with three Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles from three MiG-31K aircraft from the airspace of the Tambov region (departure airport – Savasleyka).
In total, more than 80 air targets were identified and tracked by the radio engineering troops of the Air Force:
The air attack was repulsed by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, two Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles were downed in the Kyiv region and 32 enemy attack UAVs were shot down in the Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava and Kharkiv regions.
Several hits by enemy attack UAVs were recorded in the Kharkiv region near the front. One of the three “Daggers” hit in the area of the Starokostyantiny airfield in the Khmelnytskyi region.
In addition, 37 Russian drones were lost in location in various regions of Ukraine, presumably as a result of active countermeasures by WB. The information is being clarified.

Today, October 7, at 08:26 a.m. an air alert was announced in Ukraine. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the takeoff of the MiG-31K aircraft. Later, it became known about high-speed targets moving in the direction of Kyiv and Starokostyantyniv. Soon an explosion rang out in the capital, and the Kyiv Military Regional Administration informed about the activation of anti-aircraft defense.
According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, during the morning attack, enemy MiG-31K carriers used Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles.
So far, falling debris has been recorded in a number of districts, namely:
Solomyansky district – debris damaged the roof of a multi-story residential building. One of the fragments fell on the school territory, and the rest – mainly on the open territory. Preliminary, no casualties;
Holosiivskyi district – a wreck damaged the roof of a car. There is also falling debris in the open area. There were also no victims previously;
In the Shevchenkiv district – falling debris in an open area. No casualties.
“All operational services are involved. The data of the operational summary is being updated and clarified,” the KMDA writes.
According to the mayor of the city, Vitaly Klychko, a fire broke out in the Solomyansky district.
“Maybe as a result of falling missile fragments. So far, there are no casualties. Medics are already on the spot. Other services are on their way,” he wrote.
Later, the Kyiv’s Mayor informed that “the fire in the Solomyanskiy district, which started in one of the garages on private territory as a result of falling debris, was extinguished. There were no casualties.”
He also added that debris was found near the entrance of one of the apartment buildings and in the yard of a private house.
In particular, in the Solomyansky district, missile fragments fell near a supermarket.
