The real cost of disarmament: what the U.S. owes Ukraine

If Trump has billed Ukraine for the “free” aid from Biden’s United States, then we are entitled to calculate the following:

187 ballistic missiles, each with 6–10 warheads, stationed in Ukraine were aimed at two targets: the state of New York and the state of Washington, with ground zero points — Pentagon.

It’s worth looking at the total value of these assets.

Ukraine surrendered weapons-grade uranium and plutonium with a net worth of $770 billion at the 2000 exchange rate.

In the form of warheads, that amounts to nearly $1.1 trillion. Tactical plutonium charges ranging from 5 kilotons to 150 kilotons were never even accounted for. Nuclear weapons delivery systems — the R-36M (product 100), Tu-22, and Tu-160 — each valued between $800 million to $1 billion, were handed over to the Kremlin.

So, if we subtract the microscopic $46 billion of American military aid from that amount, it turns out that the Americans owe us over a trillion dollars.

Hey Redhead, how are we going to settle this?
