Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  August 25, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 22 attacks against Ukrainian troops in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours, in particular they fired 11 times on Luhansk direction, 8 times on Donetsk direction and 3 times on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: Bahmut road and Popasna district reported as a hottest spots on this direction, the enemy actively used mortar fire and released 30 mines upon Ukrainian troops positions; Russian forces shelling took place in Stanytsya Luhanska and Zhovte;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian occupiers shelled at Avdiivka and Butovka mine areas with the use of small arms; Russian forces luanched mortar shelling in Troytske and released 25 mines upon Ukrainian troops;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian mortar attack reported in Chermalyk; the enemy also violated ceasefire regime in Taramchuk and Vodyane;
(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian servicemen, but 3 servicemen were wounded in actions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
