Ukraine counter offensive: official digest. July 10, 2023

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct Ukraine counter offensive operation, with the following success. Here below the results for the past week, presented by the MoD deputy head Hanna Maliar:

During the past week, the russian invaders launched 39 missile and 334 air strikes on Ukraine.

Eastern direction

In a week, as a result of improving the operational (tactical) position, leveling the front line, the freed area in the Eastern direction is 24 sq. km.

Increased in a week by 4 sq. km.

In general, an increase in the number of shellings up to 7,184 was recorded in the Eastern direction over the past week.

The enemy used 343,402 artillery and rocket shells against us.

South direction

In a week, as a result of offensive actions in certain areas, the russian troops are advancing deep from the line of our defense.
The released area is 168.6 sq. km.
Increased by 10.2 sq. km in a week.

In general, 4,318 russian shellings were recorded in the Tauriysk direction over the past week.

Ukrainain defenders struck during the past week:

more than 79 strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas
for 8 control points,
on 17 stations of the REB
for 11 enemy ammunition depots
destroyed 24 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems
destroyed 39 of 67 Iranian attack UAVs of the “Shahed-131/136” type.

Today another grid news broke the silence about Ukraine counteroffensive. Bakhmut turned under the fire control of the Ukrainain Armed Forces. It became possible due to the fact that, in the process of advancing, Ukrainain troops took control of the main commanding heights around Bakhmut, – MoD deputy head Hanna Maliar says.
