Ukraine counter offensive: official digest. June 12, 2023
We continue folow up of Ukrainian counter offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine which began in four directions. Today, June 12, 2023 the following official info became public.
The MoD deputy head Hanna Maliar informs that over the past week, during the offensive operation in the Donetsk and Tavriysk operational areas: – the advance of the troops of the offensive group was 6.5 km – the area of the territory taken under control is 90 kV.km – 7 settlements were liberated: Lobkove, Levadne, Novodarivka, Neskuchne, Storozheve, Makarivka, Blagodatne.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the defense forces advanced to 700 meters for the last day.
This was told by the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Cherevaty today.
“Positional battles continue. The enemy is trying, but to no avail, to counterattack. A total of three skirmishes took place in this direction during the day. We continued to counterattack where there were opportunities, and on the flanks we advanced from 250 to 700 meters, advancing the enemy,” he said.
Cherevaty also reported that the Armed Forces destroyed 66 occupiers, wounded another 86, and captured three.
The MoD deputy head Hanna Maliar informed this morning, that the Ukrainian national flag is flying over Storozheve in Donetsk oblast again, and it will be the same with every settlement until we liberate all Ukrainian land. “Thank you Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrogradskyi 35th Separate Brigade of Marines, – Hanna Maliar said.
Another settlement of Novodarivka, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast is also liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
There are also reportes that Ukrainian Armed Forces successed in the Donetsk oblast and liberated the settlement of Novomaiors’ke.
