Ukrainian vessel Slavutich blocked by Russian navy in Crimea

Location: Sevastopol, Crimea Ukraine

Spokesman of Ukrainian Navy HQ informed that as of March 6, 2014 Sevastopol and Streletskaya Bays remain blocked by Russian navy in Crimea.

Sevastopol Bay, where Ukrainian Navy command and control ship “Slavutich” and corvette “Ternopol” are stationed, is blocked by four Russian vessels.

Streletskaya Bay is blocked with special buoys installed by Russian Navy, earlier the Bay was also blocked by Russian Navy vessels.

There is unconfirmed information that Russian military also controls the vessels movement control center (“Delta-Pilot” division) at Streletskaya Bay.
