The Chinese Foreign Ministry does not comment on Zelensky's statements regarding Chinese satellites near nuclear power plants
The Chinese Foreign Ministry has not commented on the statements made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regarding Russia’s use of Chinese satellites to photograph Ukrainian nuclear power plants. It was reported by UA.NEWS.
The head of state noted that this is how the aggressors are preparing for a potential strike against them.
In response to a request to comment on the statement made by the Ukrainian president, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated at a briefing, “I have nothing to say regarding what you mentioned.”
At the same time, Beijing is very sensitive to any negative mentions of China.
One of the tasks of its embassies in all countries, like the diplomatic missions of other countries, is to monitor influential local media reports about China and related events.
The United States warned its allies back in early April that China was providing Russia with geospatial intelligence data to assist in its war against Ukraine.
The Chinese side traditionally rejects accusations from Western countries regarding any assistance to Russia in continuing its invasion of Ukraine, calling its close ties with Russia “normal relations between two countries.”
