Hidden weapons: how russian cartoons affect the consciousness of children

How russian cartoons can dramatically spoil the consciousness of children? What hidden massages russia includes its video products?

Why russian hidden weapons is so dangerous?

“I finished. And it was super hard. Six seasons of high-class shit. Faster than any russian missile, more accurate than HIMARS.

41 million subscribers, tens of billions of views.

I got through six seasons of “Masha and the Bears”. Ask me “why?”

Why.

I see that despite mass de-communization and an aversion to everything russian, kids remain somewhere out of context. Their gadgets in cafes or shops continue playing russian cartoons. And the so-called adultism is still widespread and cherished among us adults, from the mouths of our parents it sounded like: you’ll grow up and understand, but for now I know better.

One day almost all channels shared a touching video with a military father returning home, a baby rushing to him in tears. But what’s in its hands? Oh yes, it’s a giant inflatable Masha balloon. No one paid attention to it, and even he himself was okay that this particular character is the baby’s favorite.

What’s the problem?

The cartoons our kids watch are high-precision weapon striking right into the brain. It works slowly, invisibly, but very effectively and massively. There was a Ukrainian scientist, Prof. Bandura. He studied the upbringing of kids and proved that not only our parental efforts influence kids’ behavior. Kids imitate behavior. He would show a well-behaved kid a doll and beat it without saying anything. When he left the room, the kid would do the same without any instructions. A well-behaved kid who had been taught by parents that violence is not okay. So, kids imitate what they see around them, including in cartoons.

What’s the plot?

The stolen fairy tale about Goldilocks and the three bears, which was brazenly rewritten by Leo Tolstoy, looks like this. Masha is an ordinary Russian child. A soul. Without any control, she enters someone else’s house, breaks everything, crushes, mocks, and then shows the innocent eyes of the cat from Shrek in a “it’s not me, it’s just once” style. She is forgiven and everything starts again. Have you recognized the great russian culture? This goes on for 6 seasons in a row.

It’s like Tom and Jerry, you might say, but it’s not!

No one can stop Masha. She has no adults, no elders, no parents. All her destructive behavior goes unpunished. All her actions are formed in her head as a joke and as a norm. What does this teach kids who consume the content? You can do whatever you want, you’ll get away with it. There is no justice.

Do you know what kids who are not taught rules, have no boundaries and no sense of justice become? Yes, they can do whatever they want and can even repeat it.

About Tom and Jerry

There are two significant differences. The first is that Masha is human. And kids project human behavior onto themselves. The cat and mouse are animals, their behavior is not from our world. The second is that Tom has a mistress, an authoritative adult, who sometimes appears in the cartoon and the cat’s behavior changes radically. Adults exist to guide. Kids need them.

Why am I picking on it?

Everything that happens in childhood affects us. Once upon a time we were influenced by Wild Angel, Dinosaurs and Snehavik Pachtavik with Kapitoshka. And now Masha is definitely deploying her russian soul in our kids and is not even going to turn back.

How does it work?

In addition to the toys on the shelves, which are still sold in Ukraine, but which fortunately are no longer so easy to find, Masha, as the daughter of a company with offices in Warsaw, Limassol, Miami, Moscow, is obviously unsanctioned and “not harmful,” it has contracts with Amazon.com, Danon Ukraine (launched a new product in October of this year), some parts of amusement parks for children in Italy and in Turkey (Belek) are also dedicated to this “blockbuster”. I saw the bear in the central square of Warsaw (you can take a picture with it), in stores in Germany, Poland, and Spain. It’s almost a McDonald’s for every russian visitor. They seem to mark their territory.

My German friend said “but she is funny”. Yes, she is, until… little mashas don’t come to your land and start acting with impunity and like a pig. They destroy, crush and laugh at that. Parents still don’t see the connection, though, and continue to show this crap to their children. Although children love it, we should guide them.

Did I come up with it myself, or has someone already talked about it?

Masha is officially banned in Sweden as promoting violence and in Latvia due to the “dedy voyevali” style of season 1, episode 12. We tried to do this in Ukraine, but it was “not the time for that.” There is a separate googleable research about Masha and her influence.

We ourselves choose what content our children consume. Sometimes parents are strongly cautioned that some material may be inappropriate for children under the certain age, e.g. films are rated (+7, +16). These ratings are rated to the brain’s ability to analyze and process information at a certain age. Therefore, when I hear that 7-year-old children are watching Squid Game “under parental supervision,” I have a certain idea about these parents.

We have to change the behavior patterns of our children. More precisely, to form them. This cannot be achieved only through education. Freeing up our time for leisure, we sometimes unknowingly unfold a russian soul in the little heads of our Ukrainian children. Every time we should ask ourselves the question: – What will this cartoon teach my kid?

And the second question, how can we fight this?”
