Unreported strategic threats amid the Kursk offensive

News that you won’t hear in the media and that might seem unimportant right now in the context of the swift operation in the Kursk region:

● Fact

■ What it threatens

● The enemy is less than 6 km from Selydove (I saw it personally). Defending the city for a long time and effectively is extremely difficult due to the complex terrain. Once they reach the highway, the assault on the city will be faster than the clearing of Sudzha.

● The enemy has crossed the Vuhledar-Maryinka highway and secured our former positions. They crossed and secured, unlike before, when they would drop a tricolor rag on a burnt vehicle from a drone and show this video on all Russian channels claiming they had crossed this highway.

■ The fall of Selydove threatens the defense of the city of Kurakhove, which should have been covered from the heights in the direction of Selydove, and this group should have been cut off by a fairly large reservoir (there’s no secret here, just open a satellite map + elevation map). And, of course, the road to Pokrovsk, but it will be extremely difficult for the enemy to advance to the city from this direction.

■ Along the Vuhledar-Maryinka highway, there are several strategically important objects. If the enemy manages to capture them, the Vuhledar group will be hit in the flank, and the defense of the city (what’s left of it) in a semi-encirclement will be very difficult and doubtful.

I took the photo from Naumovych.

We are observing the situation in the Kursk direction. We still don’t understand anything, but we’re watching with fascination.
