PACE recognized deportation of Ukrainian children to russia as genocide

The relevant resolution was adopted at the PACE spring session. The resolution passed with 87 votes in favour. The term “genocide” in relation to russia is mentioned in it for the first time. According to People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko, this means that putin and russian children’s ombudsman maria lvova-belova will be recognized as war criminals in those PACE member countries that do not recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC.

According to Honcharenko, his amendment with the proposal to recognize the self-proclaimed president of belarus alexandr lukashenko as an accomplice in the crime of genocide was included in the resolution.
