Zaporizhzhia thugs are targeting the relatives of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers
According to Ostanniy Bastion, pro-Russian “waiters” have become more active in the regional center against the backdrop of the occupiers’ advances in the East. They are searching for and attacking those involved in the defense efforts.
Evidence of this has been shared by a reconnaissance officer from one of the frontline units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the call sign “Hans Schnier.” As usual, law enforcement agencies have been unable to track down the perpetrators who are laying the groundwork for the arrival of Russian invaders in Zaporizhzhia.
According to an active combat participant currently on the front lines, thugs are raising their heads in rear cities because they sense weakness in the Ukrainian state. The infamous “waiters” are being fueled by dirty money from Kremlin special services.
“While I’m at war, some pro-Russian scum in Zaporizhzhia attacked my father, and the local cops and prosecutors are doing everything to let them get away with it. So, let me lay out the situation step by step to clarify what’s going on… On August 23, during the day, my 70-year-old father was struck from behind in the neck, knocked down, and likely kicked as well. My father remembered the attacker’s phrase: ‘This is for Kursk!’
When we were working in the Zaporizhzhia direction, I showed up in our yard a few times in uniform. So it was easy to figure out that our family is connected to the war. This wasn’t a robbery since nothing was taken. That same day, my mother called the police. And then the damn circus began. The report still isn’t in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations, and no investigator has been assigned.”
The duty officer claims that a broken and torn nose, numerous bruises, and hematomas “do not show signs of a criminal offense.” The rude district officer initially lied, saying he had invited my father to inspect the crime scene, but my father allegedly refused because he “didn’t have time for that.” Then he began asserting that there was a witness who saw my father fall by himself, so “the case is solved.” My father met with the “witness,” and it turned out that this woman only saw my father lying on the asphalt.
She has no idea what led to that. All this nonsense is happening at Police Department No. 1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region. Among those covering it up, whose name I know, is comrade Eduard Nasonov. On August 28, we filed a complaint with the regional prosecutor, Serhiy Spilnyk, regarding the inaction of the pre-trial investigation body.
Still no response. And it’s already September! Meanwhile, the attacker is still walking free. Surveillance camera footage that might have captured him is being overwritten. Life in a frontline city is just peachy… Oh, and I forgot—the injuries haven’t been documented either because a forensic examination can only be ordered by an investigator, and no investigator has been assigned. For the record, the report number is 22258 from August 23, 2024,” the soldier said.
