Ukrainian embassies and consulates continue to receive bloody packages

After the terrorist attack in Spain, the embassies in Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Croatia, Italy, the consulates general in Naples and Krakow, and the consulate in Brno received bloody packages.

It was reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs spokesman of Ukraine Oleh Nikolenko.

The packages contained animal eyes and were soaked with liquid of a distinctive color and odor. The entrance to the ambassador’s apartment in Vatican was vandalized, the embassy in Kazakhstan received a mine-warning message, which was not confirmed later. The embassy in the USA received a letter with a photocopy of a critical article about Ukraine, but, like most other envelopes, the letter came from a European country in sync with the others, said Oleh Nikolenko.

“We have reason to believe that it is a well-planned campaign of terror and intimidation of Ukrainian embassies and consulates. Unable to stop Ukraine on the diplomatic front, they are trying to intimidate us. However, I can say at once that these attempts are useless. We will continue to work effectively for Ukraine’s victory,” Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stressed.
