Ukraine under fire. Situation by regions as of this morning May 30, 2023.

Kyiv

The Ukraine Air Force reported that on the night of May 30, from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., the russian occupation forces once again attacked Ukraine with Iranian attack drones “Shahed-136/131”. In total, 31 shahed drone launches were recorded from the north and south.

On May 30, russian forces again tried to attack Kyiv with shahed drones. This is already the 18th mass attack of the Russian occupiers on the capital in May.

Incredible work of rescuers

Rescuers continue to hold their front. 152 people and more than 30 pieces of equipment were involved in the liquidation of the consequences of the Kyiv attack only the night before.

In the released footage, you can see how rescuers bravely evacuated people from damaged houses.

The forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 29 attack UAVs. Almost all drones were hit on the approaches to the capital and in the sky of Kyiv.

In the Podilskyi district, rescuers contained a fire in a multi-storey building and a building. Fortunately, 6 people were saved.

In the Darnytskyi district, due to falling debris, a fire in an economic building on an area of 30 square meters was extinguished.

In the Holosiivsky district, as a result of falling debris, a fire broke out in a high-rise building – it was liquidated. Rescuers evacuated 30 people, 4 were injured, 1 person died.

In addition, 3 cars caught fire due to falling debris in the Pechersk district.

Donetsk oblast

On May 29, the russian occupiers killed 2 people in Toretsk. Another 10 people were wounded.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The russian invaders inflicted 65 blows on 14 towns and villages. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Twelve reports of destruction were added.

Kharkiv oblast

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy massively shelled the settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Chuhuyiv and Izyum districts of the region, using missile weapons, artillery, mortars and aircraft. Twelve people were wounded as a result of the shelling. 

Sumy oblast

At night and in the morning, russia carried out 7 shelling attacks (32 explosions). The Bilopilska, Esmanska, Velykopysarivska, Znob-Novhorodska, Krasnopilska, Seredyno-Budska and Yunakivska communities came under fire. There were no civilian casualties or destruction of civilian infrastructure.

Kherson oblast

The Russian occupiers shelled peaceful settlements in the Kherson region 52 times. Over the past 24 hours, one person died due to the Russian aggression.

Kyiv oblast

As a result of the Russian attack, 17 residential buildings in the Kyiv region were damaged: in one of the residential complexes, people were cut by shrapnel.

In particular, walls, windows, doors and furniture were gutted in people’s homes, the Kyiv region police reported.

It is also known, that in Cherkasy Oblast a mass flight of unmanned aerial vehicles was recorded. However, the Ukrainian air defense forces were sucesfully working.

In the Mykolayiv Oblast, two russian iranian “Shahed-131/136” drones were destroyed during the last night, reports say.

In addition, in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, defenders from the “East” air command shot down a drone over the region. Most likely, Shahed-136 was landed.
