Ukraine under fire. Situation in the regions as of May 2, 2023

Dnipropetrovsk region

The occupiers shelled Nikopol with artillery late last night. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Sumy region 

At night and in the morning, the enemy carried out 6 shellings of the border area. About 20 explosions were recorded.

Donetsk region 

On May 1, the Russians wounded 2 residents of the Donetsk region: in Kramatorsk and Siversk.

Kherson region

The Russian occupiers shelled peaceful settlements in the Kherson region 71 times. 363 shells were fired from artillery, MLRS, mortars, tanks, drones and aviation. Yesterday, two people were wounded due to Russian aggression.

Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past day, the enemy launched 56 attacks on 15 settlements: 51 artillery strikes and three UAV attacks hit the frontline villages. 4 people were wounded.  

Kharkiv region

Yesterday, the enemy continued terrorist shelling of settlements in the Kharkiv, Chuguyiv and Kupyansk districts of the region. As a result of shelling of the village of Kucherivka (Kupyansk district), a 65-year-old man was wounded and hospitalized. A 57-year-old man was wounded in Vovchansk (Chuguyiv district).

Mykolaiv region

Yesterday, the enemy fired at the settlement of the Kutsurub community with MLRS. As a result of the shelling, two people were wounded. The settlement was left without electricity, gas, water, and Internet as a result of shelling.
