Ukraine under fire. The situation in the regions as of the morning August 5, 2024.

Mykolaiv Region

In the evening of August 4, at 18:55, the enemy shelled the waters of the Ochakiv community with mortars. No casualties have been reported.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

In the evening and at night, the aggressor attacked the Nikopol district using a kamikaze drone and artillery. The Pokrovsk community suffered the most, with 2 people injured. Damaged were a cafeteria, a retail pavilion, a water vending machine, 8 private houses, 6 outbuildings, garages, cars, solar panels, power lines, and a gas pipeline.

In Nikopol, a private business was damaged. Chervonohryhorivska, Marhanetska and Myrivska communities also suffered from enemy strikes. No injuries among civilians have been reported.

Kherson Region

On the previous day, under enemy fire and airstrikes were Blahovishchenske, Kizomys, Veletenske, Sadove, Stanyslav, Beryslav, Tyahynka, Burhunka, Antonivka, Daryivka, Prydniprovsk and the city of Kherson.

Russian troops targeted residential areas in the region, including 4 apartment buildings and 10 private houses. Four people were injured due to Russian aggression.

Zaporizhzhia Region

Throughout the day, the occupiers fired 472 times at the Zaporizhzhia region. Eight settlements were under enemy fire. Three reports of housing damage were received. No civilian casualties have been reported.

Kharkiv Region

In the village of Nova Ivanivka, a 47-year-old man was killed due to an explosion from an unexploded ordnance.

Sumy Region

During the night and morning, Russians carried out 9 shellings of border areas and settlements in Sumy region. A total of 36 explosions were recorded.

Donetsk Region

Over the course of the day, Russians shelled Donetsk settlements 21 times. Evacuations from the frontline areas involved 256 people, including 28 children. On August 4, Russians killed 1 resident of Donetsk in Hrodivka. Another 3 people in the region were injured over the day.
