Ukraine celebrates its 33d Anniversary of Independence from the USSR

At this moment, 33 years ago, the Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine was adopted by the majority of votes of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Independence is a chance to create our own state built on our own ideas, thoughts, values ​​and culture with stable political institutions and political awareness.

Have we taken this chance? Definitely – yes.

Have we taken it rationally? It is a subjective judgement.

However, enough blood has already been shed for it.

Remember those who fought for independence and were tortured by the Soviet and Russian special services.

They fought for our wellbeing.

The task of this channel is to unite.

We hope that we cope with this mission by warning you about the enemy’s further attempts to break our will, honor and deprive us of our independence.

Ukrainians, remember, the state begins with each of us.

We ourselves are creating the country.

Let’s always remember the bravery of people defending our country every day, every minute, every second.

They give their lives so that we may live in a sovereign state rather than in an “autonomous district”.

We congratulate you, Ukraine!
