The train that came under russian shelling in Kherson arrived in Lviv on schedule

The train that was fired upon in Kherson arrived in Lviv on schedule.⠀

“In Kherson, the train crew, despite chaos and air raid alarm, acted quickly and clearly; a few minutes before the hit, they moved two passengers with limited mobility from the evacuation car to a safe shelter, and then promptly unhooked the burning car from the train, boarded the passengers and departed from the station with a delay of only 14 minutes,” Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

Wounded conductor Roman has already been discharged from the Kherson hospital.

“Roman told me that the large shrapnel fragments had been removed, but the small ones had not been removed yet. At the time of the shelling of car No. 30, one conductor was in his compartment and was not wounded; Roman was wounded when he was removing garbage from the car. All passengers were in the premises of the station during the shelling,” Ivan Tanasiuk, the head of the train, told reporters.

One train car was completely burned as a result of the shelling, the other was damaged by shrapnel fragments.
