The High Anti-Corruption Court confiscated a household chemicals plant in Vinnytsia controlled by Russians
The High Anti-Corruption Court granted the Ministry of Justice’s request to transfer the “Vinnytsiapobutkhim” plant, owned by the Russian company “Nevskaya Kosmetika”, to the state of Ukraine.
This is a well-known manufacturer of children’s cosmetics and household chemicals, including brands such as “Ushastyi Nyan”, “Mister Chister”, “Novyi Zhemchug”, and many others.
Since 2006, the plant has been owned by Russian businesses, particularly oligarch Vladimir Plesovskikh, a member of the “United Russia” party.
After the full-scale invasion began, the plant was seized and handed over to Ukrainian businessmen from the Afina group. They believe that transferring the enterprise to the state could halt production for half a year.
Most of the confiscated assets belonging to Russians or their accomplices are then sold at open auctions.
These assets (and many others) were confiscated thanks to the sanctions mechanism developed by the Anti-Corruption Action Center, Automaidan, and partners in the government and civil sector.
