Ukrainian journalist killed by the Russian drone in the Kyiv region

Tetiana Kulyk, a journalist for “Ukrinform,” and her husband, surgeon Pavlo Ivanchov, were killed as a result of a Russian drone attack on the Kyiv region.

During a night attack by Russian drones on the Kyiv region, Ukrinform journalist Tetiana Kulyk and her husband, surgeon Pavlo Ivanchov, were killed.

As reported by CENSOR.net, this was announced on the agency’s website.

Tetiana Kulyk was the author and host of the project Nation of the Unconquered and served as the acting editor-in-chief of the Main Multimedia Editorial Office. She was also a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. Throughout her career, she worked as the chief editor of the socio-political programs department and as a host for Central Channel (Kyiv State Television and Radio Company), the World Service of Ukrainian Radio Broadcasting, and Public Broadcasting.

“Tetiana Kulyk was an outstanding journalist who created many programs about our struggle and our heroes. Just yesterday, we discussed preparations for an interview with Kyrylo Budanov. She will forever remain in our hearts and memories. We will avenge our colleague by exposing the war crimes of the aggressor. And as Kyrylo Budanov said in that interview, all executioners of the Ukrainian people will inevitably face justice,” said Ukrinform’s General Director Serhii Cherevatyi.

The agency’s team expressed their deepest condolences to Tetiana Kulyk’s family.

The press service of the O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University confirmed that Tetiana’s husband, Pavlo Ivanchov, was also killed.

“As we learned from information provided by neighbors, it is likely that Pavlo Ivanchov was at home with his wife Tetiana at the moment of impact. Rescuers extinguished the fire, and investigative operations are ongoing at the scene, with relevant services continuing their work.

According to rescuers, the body of a deceased person was found at the site of the fire. The body discovered in Professor Ivanchov’s house has been sent for forensic examination to confirm the identity.

‘We will report the results of the examination and investigative actions later,’ they stated.”

Earlier, it was reported that Russian occupiers attacked the Bucha district with UAVs, causing a fire and injuring one person. By the morning of February 26, it became known that a 19-year-old girl was injured, and houses were damaged.

“Yesterday we talked about preparing an interview with Kyrylo Budanov. It will forever remain in our hearts and in our memory. We will avenge our colleague with materials that expose the war crimes of the aggressor. And, as Kyrylo Budanov said in this interview, all the executioners of the Ukrainian people will definitely be punished,” – said Ukrinform Director General Serhiy Cherevatyy.
