Svitolina wins the tournament in Dubai, defeating the Russian in the final

Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina became the winner of the WTA tournament in Dubai with a prize pool of more than $ 2.5 million.

In the finals, Elina Svitolina has defeated Russian Darija Kasatkina in two sets.

Svitolina won the first set scoring 6: 4, in the second set she crushed her rival – 6 : 0. The duel continued for 1 hour and 11 minutes. As a reminder, last year Svitolina also won a tournament in Dubai.

The victory in Dubai brought Svitolina 470 rating points, and $ 651,347 prize money.

For Elina Svitolina, this is already the 11th victory of the WTA series tournament, and she repeated achievement of Andriy Medvedev in this regard.
