Russian propaganda is found in Ukrainian orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate

Security Service of Ukraine conducted a search in the premises of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow  Patriarchate (UOC MP) in Chernivtsi Region. Russian propaganda materials, certificates of russian citizenship and other documents of the invaders were found.

The Security Service conducted counterintelligence measures in the premises of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese of the UOC MP. As a result of investigative actions, law enforcement officers found documents confirming the russian citizenship of the leadership of diocesan structures.

The SBU also found the correspondence between the diocese leaders and their Moscow curators, in which they receive “guide books” about “features” of church liturgies after a full -scale invasion.

In addition, during the inspection of the computers of the Diocese’s leadership, photocopies of the certificates of the ruscists who had participated in hostilities against the Ukrainian troops were revealed. Among such documents is the “hero of russia” certificate for “capture of Crimea” in 2014, signed by the Minister of Defense of the russian federation, – reports the SBU Press Center.
