Russia has destroyed everything: the aftermath of the shelling of Zatoka in the Odesa region

A video showing the aftermath of Russian shelling of one of the most famous resorts in the Odesa region, Zatoka, is spreading online. The published footage reveals that almost no buildings in the village have survived.

Videos of the extensive destruction were shared on Odesa Telegram channels.

Shattered Zatoka

The video shows streets closer to the sea: many buildings have shattered windows, some are completely or partially destroyed, and others are left without roofs. Roads are covered with debris and trash.

Shelling of Zatoka

It’s worth reminding that Russian occupiers regularly attack Zatoka. Resort bases, sanatoriums, and residential buildings are hit. According to last year’s data, 41 non-residential buildings and 118 residential buildings were damaged in the village, with most of them destroyed by more than 20%.

It’s also worth noting that the Kharkiv city council revealed the scale of the destruction caused by Russian shelling. We also reported that a period of mourning has been declared in Dnipro for those killed in the Russian attack. Meanwhile, the number of injured has increased to 28 citizens.
