Repressions against the judge who freed Saakashvili has started

Kyiv Administrtive court freed former Georgia President Mikheil Saakashvili from detention, but the judge reportedly came under repressions.

The judge of the Kyiv Administrative court Larysa Tsokol issued the decision to release Mikheil Saakashvili for the period of investigation.
At the meantime, The Supreme Council of Justice of Ukraine, which turned out to be the manual state body of the President is to consider two complaints against the judge of the Kyiv Administrative court Larysa Tsokol.
Larysa Sokol freed Saakashvili for the period of investigation of his case and refised to apply for prosecutors appeal on home arrest to the former President of Georgia.
After such a desicion citizens believed in justice and independence of the judge system in Ukraine. Larisa Tsokol herself was remembered even by the world TV channels as a judge with an impeccable reputation and position completely independent.
Meantime, the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reports that consideration of the opening of disciplinary case or denial of its opening will take place at the meeting of the First Disciplinary Chamber on December 22, 2017.
The agenda of the meeting indicated that consideration of this issue will be held on the complaints of Oleksand Pikalov and Mykola Kharchenko. The speaker is a member of the Supreme Council of Justice of Ukraine Oleksiy Malovatsky.
On such a way the Presidential Administration has decided to dismiss the judge because she refused to obey Poroshenko’s political interest against Saakashvili.
It forces the judge Larysa Tsokol asks for support. She asks journalists and activists to give maximum publicity to this process, so that the current regime can not repress it because of her independent position.

To remind, Mikheil Saakashvili was detained and imprisoned on Friday 8, 2017 in Kyiv and transported to SBU of Kyiv Oblast HQ.
We wrote earlier that Mikheil Saakashvili’s arrest is questionable from the legal point of view.
