Moscow court fixes a date for considering appeals case of Ukrainian sailors

On August 21, the Moscow City Court appointed a hearing on appeals case of 13 Ukrainian prisoners of war based by decree to extend the arrest until October, 2019.

Lawyer Mykola Polozov announced this on Facebook, in the group “Defense of Ukrainian captive sailors”.

According to him, the court hearings of the Moscow City Court on the appeal case by decree of the Lefortovsky district court on the extension of the term of detention will be held on August 21 at 11am regarding the third group of Ukrainian prisoners of war, and on August 21 at 2pm regarding the fourth group, in Court Room 327.  

He specified that the third group includes: Andriy Artemenko, Viktor Bespalchenko, Volodymyr Varimez, Vladyslav Kostyshyn, Oleh Melnychuk, Vasyl Soroka, and Serhiy Chuliba; the fourth group – Yuriy Bezyazychnyi, Yuriy Budzilo, Volodymyr Lisovyi, Bohdan Nebylytsa, Yevhen Semydotskyi, and Andriy Eider.
