Coronavirus in Ukraine: Day 52

On March 3, 2020 the first COVID-19 case was registered in Ukraine. Since that time, EMPR provides daily updates on number of suspected, confirmed, recovered and death cases in Ukraine, including the regional dimensions.

77752 suspected cases have been laboratory tested (+5456 for the last 24h), Public Health Center reports. 

7647 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Ukraine as of April 24, 2020 (official data on 9:30 a.m. Kyiv time), the Ministry of Health informed. 

477 new cases reported during the last 24 hours. The number of cases increased in 6.7% for the last day.

2489 (+181) Ukrainians with COVID-19 hospitalized (32,5% of total confirmed cases), including 109 children (+6) and 244 (+21) medical workers.

103 (+2) patients, including 1 children receive ventilation.

19.1% of infected COVID-19 cases are medical workers.

193 deaths from COVID-19 reported in Ukraine (99 men and 94 women). Death rate is about 2.6%.

6 Ukrainians passed away for the last 24 hours. RIP!

601 (+97) patients recovered from coronavirus in Ukraine (including 27 children and 109 medical workers).
