Belarus threatened to close the Ukrainian embassy in Minsk
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus threatened to close the Ukrainian embassy.
After self-proclaimed president lukashenko’s statements about an alleged border violation by Ukrainian drones, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Ukraine’s Chargé d’Affaires Olha Tymush.
This was reported by the BelTA state agency with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
She was informed that the country can question the expediency of a further presence of Ukraine’s diplomatic mission in Minsk.
The Belarusian side expressed a strong protest and presented a corresponding note to the Ukrainian diplomat.
Meantime, Lukashenko ordered to move ballistic Iskander systems close to Belarus – Ukraine border.
