As reported by Rubryka, employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine who were injured during the massive Russian attack on Kyiv on June 6 turned out to be members of its press service; they shared photos from the hospital.
The photos were posted by one of the wounded, head of the SES press center, Pavlo Petrov.
“You probably aren’t used to seeing photos like these from my account, but sorry about that,” he wrote in his post.
It is known that alongside him, SES press officer Inna Zhelchyk was also hospitalized.
“We’re alive, and that’s what matters most. Everything else will heal and recover,” Petrov wrote.
He also promised to “return to duty soon.”
“Thanks to everyone for the support. We’ll try to restore Inna’s phone number, since her cards and numbers were left there along with phones, cameras, and body armor,” the rescuer noted.
As reported, on the night of June 6, Russia launched a massive strike on Kyiv. Three rescuers died during the aftermath cleanup, and 14 others were injured.

According to the State Emergency Service, among those injured today are SES Kyiv press officers Pavlo Petrov and Inna Zhelchyk. On the day Ukraine honors the heroism of journalists, doctors fought to save Inna’s life, while Pavlo was hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. Petrov later underwent surgery.
