Ukraine war updates on March 10, 2016 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights

(1) The situation remains tense in the war zone in eastern Ukraine; Russian armed forces fired 49 times upon Ukrainian positions over the last day, including 42 times on Donetsk direction and 7 times on Luhansk direction;

 

(2) Luhansk direction: the situation remains calm on this direction over the last 24 hours;

 

(3) Donetsk direction: the most tense atmosphere remains in Avdyivka and its suburbs; the enemy opened fire from forbidden 120-mm artillery and mortars which resulted demages to two residential houses; another hit stop was reported in the village of Luganske at Svytlodarska line; the enemy used mortars and armored vehicles as well as snipers fire;

 

(4) Mariupol direction: Russian forces violated ceasefire regime near Maryinka, Granytne and Hnutove;

 

(5) 1 Ukrainian serviceman killed in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours, and 1 Ukrainain serviceman was wounded in action.
