Ukraine has begun the disengagement of forces in Zolote

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystayko said that on Tuesday, October 29, the process of disengagement of forces and equipment in Zolote had begun.

“Disengagement on the agreed sites will take place before a Normandy Four summit. Disengagement in Zolote is under way now. We’re starting from today,” Interfax-Ukraine quotes the minister.

According to him, the disengagement process will be checked by monitors of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission.

The minister also added that after the disengagement of forces in Zolote the next disengagement would take place in Petrivske (in case of ceasefire maintenance).

The disengagement of troops in Petrivske and Zolote was scheduled for October 7, but it was delayed because of the shelling.

Earlier we reported about the stages of disengagement of forces in Zolote and Petrivske.

It should also be reminded that Zelensky declared that his mission as the president was to stop the war in Donbas.
