There is a high risk that Russia will deport an additional 1.5 million Ukrainian children

There is a high risk that Russia will deport an additional 1.5 million Ukrainian children who remain in the temporarily occupied territories

This was reported by the Ombudsman of Ukraine at the Third Plenary Meeting of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.

Dmytro Lubinets stated that the personal data of forcibly displaced and deported children are being changed so that their relatives and Ukraine cannot locate and return them: “Our children are even sent to so-called ‘re-education camps’ where they are brainwashed with Russian propaganda. Just imagine: our children are forced to deny their Ukrainian heritage.”

Russia has already kidnapped over 20,000 children from Ukraine.
