How the Armed Forces of Ukraine helped the occupiers make a “goodwill gesture” in Kherson

It was in result of the active operations of Ukrainian fighters that russian troops probably withdrew from Kherson. Currently, it is not possible to confirm or deny the escape of the occupiers in the number that will prove that there is no russian foot in Kherson.

This was informed by the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Hromov, during a briefing.

“The Defense Forces of Ukraine are continuing active operations in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. I want to emphasize that there are colossal efforts of our soldiers behind every so-called enemy’s “goodwill gesture.” Just as was the case with enemy’s withdrawal from Kyiv, Kharkiv region, Zmiinyi Island. The possible withdrawal from Kherson is the result of our active operations,” Hromov stressed.

As noted earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed the enemy’s logistical routes and support system in the Kherson sector. Therefore, the enemy cannot receive supplies in sufficient amount and in time. Their Command and Control System also has been disrupted.

“But at the moment we can neither deny nor confirm the information about the so-called withdrawal of russian troops from Kherson. We continue the offensive operation according to our plan,” Hromov emphasized.

The Ministry of Defense of Great Britain reported that the withdrawal of russian troops from Kherson was caused by the inability to support the forces on the west bank of the Dnieper under the AFU strikes. The retreat will last several days, during which russian forces will be particularly vulnerable.

During the day, November 9, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed another 740 occupiers. Officially, Russia has already lost 78,690 servicemen at the front in Ukraine.
