Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  September 23, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces violated ceasefire regime 27 times in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, including 1 time on Luhansk direction, 17 times on Donetsk direction and 9 times on Mariupol direction;

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers fired with mortars, grenade launchers and small arms upon Ukrainian positions in Krymske;

(3) Donetsk direction: Russian troops launched a series of attacks around Zaytseve, Kamyanka – Avdiivka – Butovka mine front direction and near Nevelske;

(4) Mariupol direction: Krasnogorivka reported as the hottest spot on this direction, as Russian forces shelled with mortar launchers of differnt calibers upon Ukrainian troops positions; the enemy used small arms during attacks in Pavlopil, Hnutove, Talakivka and Vodyane;

(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian troops, but 1 serviceman was wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
