Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of March 13, 2018

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  March 13, 2018 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 4 attacks against Ukrainian troops in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours, including 2 attacks on Luhansk direction and 2 attacks on Donetsk and Mariupol directions.

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian forces launched 1 hour long attack with easel grenade launchers and high caliber machine guns near Luhanske. Another Russian proxies shelling with the use of grenade launchers and small arms reported near the village of Zalizne.

(3) Donetsk direction: Russian proxies fired with small arms upon Ukrainian positions in Butovka mine. The enemy launched attack with the use of forbidden 82-mm launchers, small arms and high caliber machine guns upon Ukrainina troops near Pisky.

(4) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian troops, but 1 Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in action for the past day.
