Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of July 30, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces fulfilled 14 attacks against Ukrainian troops posirions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours, including 3 times on Luhansk direction, 8 times on Donetsk direction and 3 times on Mariupol direction;

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian war actions reported in Stanytsya Luhanska, Novotoshkivske and Novozvanivka; the enemy mostly used small arms there;

(3) Donetsk direction: tense atmosphere reported in Avdiivka and its suburbs, in Kamyanka and Butovka mine; Russian occupiers actively used there grenade launchers, small arms and armored vehicles; in particular, in Avdiivka the enemy used hard weaponry and released 7 mortar mines against Ukrainian troops; another half-an-hour Russian armed provocations took place near Donetsk airport;

(4) Mariupol direction: Russian forces shelled with forbidden mortar fire upon Ukrainian troops positions in Krasnogorivka; another Russian one-hour-long attack took place near Shyrokino; to this end the enemy opened fire against Ukrainian troops in Bohdanivka;

(5) Russian forces losses in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the past day are as follows: 2 killed and 4 wounded in action;

(6) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action and 9 servicemen were wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day.
