Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of January 29, 2018

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  January 29, 2018 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 4 attacks against Ukrainian Armed Forces in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers activities reported on Svitlodarska line. The enemy fired with forbidden 120-mm mortars and high caliber machine guns in Luhanske. Russian proxies used the same forbidden by the Minsk agreementrs 120-mm mortars against Ukrainian troops near Troytske.

(3) Donetsk and Mariupol direction: Russian forces shelling with the use of grenade launchers reported near Shyrokino.

(4) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian servicemen for the past 24 hours.
