Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of February 2, 2018

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  February 2, 2018 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces has launched 4 attacks against Ukrainian Armed Forces in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours. Ukrainian forces returned fire in all cases.

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers fired with 120-mm mortars forbidden by the Minsk agreements in Stanytsya Luhanska and Troytske. The enemy released 56 mortar mines upon Ukrainian troops positions in total. Russian proxies shelling with APCs and high caliber machine guns reported in Luhanske.

(3) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in action reported among Ukrainian servicemen during the last 24 hours.
